(Los Angeles, CA) Persistent Management welcomes a new member to the PM family. Hailing from Australia and residing in Los Angeles, Satellite Sky is the musical vision of siblings Pete Kicks (vocals/guitar) & Kim Kicks (drums). It sees an exploration of their rock n roll influences with a grandiose flavor akin to artists such as The Verve and Bowie, while drawing on raw elements of Supergrass and The Hives.

Working with producer Paul Lani (U2, Bowie, Prince, Rod Stewart), Satellite Sky has created an emotive soundscape that is both dynamic and ambient. 2011 has already seen the Band tour throughout the U.S, including several standout showcases at SxSW in Austin, Texas and CMJ Festival in New York. They have significantly increased their reputation as a formidable songwriting force and their self-titled debut EP has been widely acclaimed by both industry and fans alike. Released in May, it is now available internationally through iTunes. Two of the tracks, ‘I Like It’ and ‘With You’ can be heard in L.A Film Festival winner ‘Almost Kings’ (2011). The Band will also feature in the forthcoming music documentary ‘Rockin The Wall’.

Satellite Sky will be performing their last show of the year at Mr. T's Bowl in Los Angeles this upcoming Friday December 16th at 11:00pm. For more details click here
